With its growing multisite group of stores and rapidly expanding franchise business, Coffee Republic needed a new sophisticated EPoS solution that had to be capable of managing its key business processes. These included managing stock across a multisite environment, centralising financial reporting, providing unified customer loyalty and crucially, offering integrated payment devices and fast transaction processing, a prerequisite for a busy high street Coffee chain operation.

Coffee Republic selected the pointOne EPoS solution with our integrated payment terminals, Enterprise Stock Control and Head Office cloud reporting software.
Our Enterprise Stock Control now allows Coffee Republic to manage stock across their entire estate. Features like par and consumption level ordering and automated re-ordering prevent previous wastage and optimise sales return on purchased stock.
Our cloud reporting software enables them to produce extensive reports for sales and profit centrally and send these reports to their various site managers (including franchisees) in real-time, providing them with powerful financial information. This lets them manage the business more creatively. For example, it will report what type of coffee sells best and at what time giving the option to run proactive promotions or upsell other products based on this data.
Using pointOne EPoS, Coffee Republic can control pricing centrally across the entire business estate, and this means they can be reactive to franchisee requests in real-time. Coffee Republic outlets can embrace ‘target deals’ which alert staff to new offers that can then be promoted to the customer, thereby improving sales.
The ResultsCoffee Republic has seen significant benefits since appointing pointOne as its EPoS provider. Chief of these is their improved transaction times from integrated payment terminals, resulting in increased customer throughput. “pointOne’s fast transaction speed processes orders quickly, and cuts the queues at our coffee outlets, keeping our franchisees and customers happy” says EPoS Manager, Mark Roughton.
