Full-Stack Developer (C#, React, JScript)

Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled software developer to help us continue creating award-winning EPoS solutions for the hospitality sector. You will be joining a diverse development team who obsesses over solving customer real-world problems with solutions that are performant, reliable, scalable and enjoyable to use.

The ideal candidate would possess strong problem-solving skills and would be fluent in C#, a database technology (ideally SQL server) and at least one other modern web tech, React being ideal. A good working knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure (Windows, Networking, etc.) is also essential to this role.

You will report directly to the Head of Product and work alongside our developers, operations team and designers.

We welcome remote working with regular in-person meet-ups at our head office location in South Wales.

Responsibilities

The role will require you to:

  • Understand and capture software requirements
  • Design solutions with scalability, reliability and useability in mind
  • Be aware of, and build to product release timelines
  • Improve performance of existing code
  • Design and author tests alongside candidate code

Qualifications

Required

  • BS/MS in a Computer Science (or equivalent acquired industry experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years software development experience.
  • Fluent in C# and a range of modern Web dev technology

Desirable

  • Experience in Service-Oriented architecture
  • Experience with Cloud provision, Azure is preferred
  • Any experience in a fintech, payment or banking environment
  • Blockchain / smart contract knowledge

  • A full-time salary of up to £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
